It’s time to get out of the house and start loving where you live! We’ve rounded up a few fun events happening in and around the Atlanta area in the coming weeks. Get out there and enjoy all your local community has to offer!
Night at the Museum – Visit the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center in Buford for an after-hours night of fun where you’ll see how the exhibits come to come to life after dark. The event starts at 6pm on Friday, January 31 and admission is just $5.
The Fly Fishing Show – This two-day show features fly fishing authors, celebrities, fly-tiers, exhibitors, and a learning center at the Infinite Energy Center in Duluth. Doors open at 9am on February 1 and admission is $5-$25.
Norcross Carriage Rides – Just in time for a romantic Valentine’s excursion, carriage rides will be available in historic Norcross starting Thursday, February 13th and continuing through the 15th. For more details, visit http://norcrossga.net.
Chocolate Walk – Visit charming downtown Braselton on February 8 starting at 11 am to visit participating local businesses and collect a delectable chocolate treat from each location as you browse boutique shops and experience award-winning restaurants. The cost to participate is just $10.
Taste of Discovery Food Truck Festival – Discover Village at Sugarloaf will transform into a foodie’s paradise on March 7 starting at 11am. Tons of specialty dishes from popular food trucks will be available along with artful spins on street foods from around the world. Admission is free, but each sample will be priced accordingly.
10th Annual Suwanee Beer Fest – Plan ahead so you don’t miss this one! It happens March 14 in Suwanee’s Town Center Park from 1pm-5pm. VIP tasting starts at noon. There will be live music, games, food vendors, and even a home brew contest. Tickets start at $50.
