Big Fireworks Displays in Gwinnett This Weekend

Communities across Gwinnett County are gearing up this week to celebrate the 4th of July in style, bigger and better than ever as people enjoy a welcome return to normal celebrations. There will be live music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and huge fireworks shows in towns and cities across Gwinnett.

Here are just a few of the celebrations happening in a town near you:

Lawrenceville – Friday, July 2: Held in the downtown area on the Lawrenceville Lawn, this Prelude to the Fourth features special performances by Riley Biederer and Electric Avenue. The even runs from 5pm until 10pm, with fireworks beginning at dusk.

Norcross – Saturday, July 3: The annual Red, White & Boom will have food vendors, bounce houses and face painting with a DJ inside Lillian Webb Park from 5:30pm to 9:30pm.

Auburn – Saturday, July 3: This is the largest fireworks display in Barrow County! Visit downtown Auburn for this fun Independence Day Celebration from 5pm until 11pm.

Duluth – Saturday, July 3: Come down to Duluth Celebrates America and enjoy live music, food trucks and fireworks from 5:30pm to 10pm. Look for the show to start over City Hall around 9:45pm.

Buford – Saturday, July 3: Take a trip to Margaritaville at Lanier Island for a special 4th of July Celebration with The Jonathan Ingram Band at LandShark Landing starting at 8pm. Fireworks begin at 10pm, and park admission is just $15 per person.

Lilburn – Saturday, July 3: It’s always a fun time at Sparkle in the Park, where there will be food, live music, and fun for the kids from 5:30 to 10pm. Fireworks begin at 9:30pm.
