Gwinnett Schools Delaying Dismissal on August 21 for Solar Eclipse

Gwinnett County Schools has announced that they are delaying dismissal of schools by one hour on August 21, 2017 to ensure that students can safely observe the highly anticipated total eclipse. In Gwinnett County, a near-total eclipse is forecast to occur between 2:35 and 2:40 and will last for approximately two minutes.
